Welcome to the Northwest Minnesota Council of Collaboratives
The Northwest Minnesota Council of Collaboratives is comprised of a variety of organizations from individual county collaboratives in northwest Minnesota representing Kittson, Marshall, Mahnomen, Norman, Polk and Red Lake counties. Its 52 members include school districts and special education districts, and agencies in the areas of social services, public health, mental health and corrections.

The Council also works to expand the resource base available to meet the growing needs of its population of almost 60,000.
The Northwest Minnesota Council of Collaboratives currently has seven primary focus areas. These are: Chemical Health Task Group, Disaster Mental Health, Early Childhood Task Group, Emergency Response/Crisis Management, Our Children Succeed System of Care Initiative, Prairie Winds Carol M. White Physical Education Grant, and the Stephen-Argyle Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative.
