What is the Stephen-Argyle Safe Schools/Healthy Student Initiative?
To enhance comprehensive educational, mental health, social service, law enforcement and juvenile justice system services that promote healthy childhood development and prevention of violence and alcohol and other drug abuse.
Services and activities specifically target the development of social skills and emotional resilience necessary to avoid drug use and violent behavior and to establish school environments that are safe, disciplined and drug free.
